I want to express my sincerest sympathy to the Atencio family and friends because of losing Johnny recently in death. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40 and John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. Again, the family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences. Feel free to contact me if you wish at my email address; myranj@centurytel.net
It will do your heart good to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize" https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO

Jonny you were always so kind to everyone and so much fun to be with. Always very humble and hoping for the best of any situation. You are an inspiration to me in many ways and I will always remember last year when you were in town and we got to spent the day together roaming around Denver reminiscing of old days. Jonny your beautiful smile will live on in our memories forever, as will our love for you my dear cousin.
To the Atencio's, I am glad I could be with you for a short while during this difficult time to morn the loss of your Brother. Stay strong and may God bless you all...

Atencio family, my sincerest condolences. Johnny was such a sweet guy. So many memories when we were younger, I loved his Donald duck talking and who could ever forget when he bought that 68 charger, all the family functions. The Gates picnic, John, Jr, Ron, Greg Grace and I on the same bat race team for so many years. John on the slide putting on belts as he slid down.
We lost a great man, but never fear, we will see him again.
God Bless you all in this time of sorrow.
Love you,
Urban

My Dear Atencio Family, I am so sorry that we have to say goodbye to our wonderful Johnny! He was always so happy and nice, and our world has lost a wonderful soul. I know you will miss him terribly, and the rest of us will as well, but with our belief in Jesus Christ we will get to see him again. Until then, I will miss him and his handsome smile. I have been praying for you all. God bless you cousin Johnny. I love you big cuz!
