Larry W. Paulson was born to James L. and Eunice Paulson on January 31, 1935 in Collbran, Colorado. He spent most of his life in the Grand Valley and graduated from Fruita Union High School in 1953. He attended Mesa Jr. College where he met the love of his life, Lucille Mackey. Larry and Lucille were married in Grand Junction, Colorado on August 19, 1956 the were blessed with four wonderful children; Linda (Ron) Kovach, LuAnn Paulson and Ben Gauna, Lanny Paulson, adnd Loren (Sandy) Paulson. The family tree has grown to include 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Some of Larry's talents were architecture and building custom homes, coaching junior legion baseball, and men's fastpitch softball. His civic contributions included serving on Fruita's City Council and as a volunteer firefighter at the Fruita Fire Department. He enjoyed having coffee with the guys, and all sports. He was preceded death by his Mother, Father, Step Mother and Siblings. At his request he has been cremated with no services. Donations may be make to HopeWest Hospice at 3090 B, North 12th Street, Grand Junction, Colorado.
