Barnum Lee Varrieur

Barnum Lee "Uncle Butch" Varrieur passed away on October 27, 2017 at Eagle Ridge of Grand Valley. He was 69 years old. Services are planned for a later date. Barnum was born in Wilimantic, Connecticut on March 3rd, 1948, to Joseph H. and Jeanne (Rayhall) Varrieur. Barnum did various things in his life. He was a bondsman for a while, and also a "gravedigger" (caretaker) for a cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Sharon D. Varrieur, sons: Scott (Connecticut) and Brian Varrieur, Grand Junction, Colorado. Two sisters: Phyllis Pintah and Joan Winchester both of Connecticut; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, and friends, Carmela and Rob. Cremation has taken place
