Shaneen Mishael Bissell

Shaneen was born Sept. 17, 1969 in Fruita, Co. She was 7 months old when the family moved to Gunnison. Settling into life she was joined by 3 siblings Shayne, Shaytece, & Nicole. Shaneen loved her role as big sister. She was a fierce protector yet a gentle care giver.

She graduated from Gunnison High School in 1987 and continued living in Gunnison. Her life took her on many adventures and places, eventually settling in Grand Junction. There she worked in the Home Health Care industry. She was loved by her clients; they felt her love and concern for them.

Anyone who came into contact were immediately drawn to her. Her big blond Farrah Fawcett hair, warm smile and caring eyes. She made you feel like you were the only one in her world, she loved whole heartedly & unconditionally.

Shaneen became an aunt, & she relished her role! She was a partner in crime, confident safe place to unwind, yet motherly.

She then became a great aunt & cherished being their Neena!!

In Oct. 2013 Shaneen met the love of her life, James Wilson. They were building a life together.

Shaneen passed peacefully at home with James by her side.

She is survived by James, Her dad Melvin and sibling, Shayne, Shaytece and Nicole. She was preceded in death by her mom Vicki, 12 Nieces & Nephews and 4 Great Nieces & Nephews.
