Philip White

Philip L White

Philip was born in Chicago, Illinois to Louis and Lebra White (née
D’Alessandro) and was a loving son, husband, father, step-father, brother,
uncle, and Papa.
Philip was a proud graduate of the 1957 class of Lane Tech College Prep
High School in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating, Philip enlisted in the
United States Marine Corp and was honorably discharged in 1961. In 1991,
Philip retired from the Chicago Police Department after 29 years of service.
After retirement, Philip lived his life in God’s Country (Colorado).
Philip was extremely proud of his full-blooded Italian heritage. In addition,
he was a member of the Marine Corps Association, American Legion,
Knights of Columbus, and the Moose Lodge.
Philip was fortunate to be preceded in death only by his parents and no
immediate family. The family would like to thank Hope West Hospice for
