Linda D Keller

Linda Diane Keller of Fruita, Colorado died at home surrounded by family on December 6, 2019 at the age of 67.  Linda was born on February 10, 1952 in Long Island, New York to Buzz and Augusta (Samuelsen) Swaine.  Linda spent a lot of time traveling after high school finally landing in Gypsum, Colorado where she met Curt Keller.  They were married July 17, 1976.  She spent many years in Gypsum working at the Vail Post Office and helping with the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.  In June 2006, Linda, her husband and mother moved to Fruita, Colorado.  There she went on many trips and was very active in the community with various clubs, as well as leading a sewing group.  She was an avid quilter often donating quilts to cancer patients as well as to the police department to help families in need.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Buzz (Floyd) Swaine; brother, Gary Swaine; and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Grace Siefken. She is survived by her mother, Augusta (Swaine) Nygard of Fruita, Colorado; husband, Curt Keller of Fruita, Colorado; daughter Misty (Keller) Siefken of Johnstown, Colorado; son in-law, Dave Siefken of Johnstown, Colorado; Step children, Mike (Jessica) Keller of Cypress, Texas, Dana (Keller) Barret of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Andrew, Sean and Ashley Siefken, Peyton, Rhett, Brianna and Garret Keller, Dillion and Trey Beamon and Mason Perkins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at the Grand Valley Funeral Home in Grand Junction with a reception to follow.  Interment will be at 1:30 at Cedar Hill Memorial Cemetery in Gypsum, Colorado.
