IDELLA MARIE SNYDER BELYEU

BORN: AUGUST 3, 1921

PASSED AWAY: JANUARY 5, 2021

Idella married John Raymond Belyeu in 1937 at Graham Texas, moved to Colorado where they lived at Pea Green, CO, Delta, CO and their final years were spent in Grand Junction,

To this union three children were born: Harold LeRay Belyeu

Idella loved Jesus and going to church which she did as long as she was able to go.

She collected dolls and made clothes for them all and collected teddy bears also.

She loved babies and baby sat little ones well into her 70’s. She also worked during harvest in harvest fields.  

She canned, cooked and took care of her family very well.  She made quilts to keep them warm.    

    Idella went into assisted living in 2011 when she was no longer safe at home alone and in 2019 went into long term care after a fall, where she passed away January 5, 2021 at the age of 99.

Idella was preceded in death by her husband and all three children as well as one granddaughter, Angela Belyeu Falzone and one great grandson Shawn Lee Michael Lancaster, her mother, father, and a brother.

She is survived by her sister Levella Monger of Grand Junction CO, a Daughter-in-Law of Cortez, CO,,  nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday January 12 at 11:00 at Orchard Mesa Cemetery, 2620 Legacy Way.
