Hans Ingo Kunze

Hans Ingo Kunze passed away peacefully at home in Clifton, Colorado on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the age of 71 after a battle with cancer. Hans was born April 9, 1951, to Horst W. and Eva D. Kunze in Ludenscheid, Germany before the family relocated to Denver, Colorado. He moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in the 1970s where he began his own painting business. He was a master of his craft. Hans enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He never knew a stranger and his door was always open. He also enjoyed playing harmonica, creating with his hands both artistically and mechanically, music, singing, and camping. He is survived by his wife, Holly Kunze; sons, Peter Ingo (Kelly) Kunze and Jason Johnson; granddaughter, Sabra Kunze; brothers, Raymond Kunze and Horst Detlef Kunze; nephew, Alex Kunze; nieces, Michelle Harbison and Lisa Gurule; several great nieces and nephews and many family members in Germany. He was preceded in death by his father, Horst W. Kunze; mother, Eva D. Kunze; daughters, Renee Elise Kunze and Nichole Johnson; brother, Norman Kunze; and sister-in-law, Patricia Kunze
