He enjoyed his life to fullest, spending his time outdoors as much as he could throughout his life and spent nearly thirty years square dancing and round dancing with his wife. He loved the outdoors, and could turn a California desert into a garden and fruit trees. He was always laughing and joking with his family. He would love to plan the best Easter egg hunts, that have changed the way our families hunt for eggs every year. He loved spending time with his family and spending summers taking his children camping. He spent majority of his days since living in Colorado, caring for a garden and teaching his grandkids and great grandkids how to grow food. He loved sharing his tomatoes with everyone and his knowledge. He is loved and missed by his family and friends. Howard was saved by Christ and joined Clifton Christian Church in 2011.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to HopeWest Hospice Care Center, in Grand Junction, CO.
