Betty was born on 8/20/1939 at home in Rutherglen Scotland to James Morrison and Lizzie Lindsay . She was the youngest of six siblings . Betty graduated from Gallowflat high school 1954 after leaving school she worked selling wall paper and paint she was married in 1960 to James McCann of Burnside Scotland Betty was proceeded in death by her parents James and Lizzie Morrison, her husband James McCann, brother john Morrison, sisters Margaret Evans, Anna Somerville, Jean may, and survived by her sister Moria Kerr .
In 1963, James and Betty McCann immigrated to California with the help of their sponsors Fred and Margret Montgomery. Betty retired in 2000 to Colorado to follow her son James McCann and his family Theresa McCann and grand children Jason McCann and Amanda McCann
Betty was able to enjoy 20 years of retirement in Colorado getting to enjoy her great grandchildren Tormund McCann and Sophia Martinez Clemente Betty also enjoyed knitting blankets, scarfs, and sweaters for those close to her
Celebration of life with be held at 837 Palmer st, Delta co on Sunday 2-16-2020 at noon
