Daniel (Danny) Martinez, 75 passed away on November 17.2020.

In Palisade-Grand Junction, Colorado

Daniel is preceded in death by his Mother: Clorinda Cisneros, Father Isaac Martinez, Brother: Pete Martinez, Tony Martinez, Johnny Martinez, and sisters: Mary Mae Martinez, Liz Garcia and Brother in laws: Bob Mondragon and Joe Garcia

He is survived by his ex-wife: Sue Niblack of Chino California, Son: Steve (Lorraine) Martinez of Santa Clarita California. Daughter: Julie Niblack of Upland California, Grandkids: Chloe Martinez of Santa Clarita California, Joshua Martinez of Santa Clarita California.

Sisters: Luyine Mondragon, Diane (Joe) Lopez, Geri (Dick) Horn, Brothers: Tom Martinez, Max Martinez and Jimmy (Karen) Martinez also many nieces, nephews and friends.

Danny was born in Taos New Mexico in 1945 and moved several times through out his life. Danny graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1964.

Danny also graduated from Los Angeles Pierce College with a degree in business. Danny then served in the United States Army in Panama as a E-5 Staff Sargent and was honorably discharged with 2 medals.

Danny loved the mountains, he loved fishing, camping, and hunting. Danny also liked to go to the flee market and yard sales.

Danny’s work was mostly self-employed in construction and was also a GREAT artist. Danny enjoyed gatherings as well. Danny lived life to its fullest.

Services will be held on Tuesday November 24, 2020 at 11:00 am at Grand Valley Funeral Homes in Grand Junction Colorado…. Due to our current restriction to stay at home, capacity is 5 guests.

Interment will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Grand Junction Colorado November 24, 2020 at 1:00PM….Guest must remain in their vehicles.
