On Friday, July 27th Barbara Jo Kyle peacefully passed from this world at the age of 80 with her husband, all of her children and their spouses, and two of her grandchildren by her side. She will be greatly missed by her surviving husband of 61 years, Karl, her sister, Becky Ferguson, her children Kenneth Kyle (Julie), Kristi Powell (Jeff), and Karla Stubbs (Scott). She will also be lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren, Lauren Tkachuk, Jared Powell, Kelsey Gibbs, Dillon Powell, Brady Kyle, Riley Kyle, Sophia Stubbs, Carter Stubbs, as well as her 7 great grandchildren (Kate, Ellie, and James Tkachuk, Easton and Blakely Powell, Taylor Powell, and Hazel Gibbs). Barbara was preceded in death by her parents JT and Helen Fuller as well as her infant twin son Kevin.
Barbara was born in Alma, Arkansas but spent the majority of her life in Oklahoma graduating from Northeast High School in 1956. Barbara and Karl were married July 3rd, 1957 and spent virtually every day of their life together sharing the operations of their successful long-time business, International Biologicals. She loved God and her family deeply, spending time with both of them often in the Colorado mountains. Her daily joy was following the lives of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was devoted to them in person as much as possible and connected to them by technology when not physically present.
A viewing and reception will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, August 3rd at Crawford Family Funeral Home, 610 NW 178th St., Edmond, OK. A memorial service will be Saturday, August 4 at 12:30PM at Henderson Hills Baptist Church in Edmond, OK.
