My deepest sympathy to Amanda's family. Words can never express the pain and sadness we feel when we lose those who held such a special place in our lives and hearts, especially when they are so young. Take comfort in knowing that death is only temporary and soon we will see the promise at Revelation 21:4 fulfilled where it says that God "will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." What a joyous hope for the future, when we will be reunited with our loved ones by means of an earthly resurrection (John 5:28,29). Until that time, keep close to you hearts all of your cherished memories of Amanda. May the "God of All Comfort" be with you in the difficult days ahead. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
